Buildpartner will sometimes make generic assumptions, particularly with regards to retrofit/refurbishment works, that you need to keep an eye on. If Buildpartner's assumptions are incorrect it can have dramatic implications on projected build costs.  

Great assistance, and market updates along with some relatively accurate budget figures which can be given to clients in order for them to make swift decisions.

Possibly having a two stage option where a more rudimentary costing guide could be given and then a more in depth pricing once the project details progress.

However, all projects are different and when I try to alter the build elements to fit what I'm actually going to be doing I can't find suitable items in the database.

The odd glitch or question is quickly responded to, so great support as well.

material costs can take a while to update, and has no live direct links to merchant or supplier store pricing.

The staff are very knowledgeable and go out of their way to help you achieve the best possible results.

It is accessible, user-friendly and gives the practice confidence when providing domestic clients with indicative costings in the early design stages.
