Then I'm told to call in.   When I do call in, I get to listen to a message for 1 minute that tells me to go online and look at the knowledgebase (waste of my time), than I sit on hold for an hour to get a first level support person that doesn't know the answer and I need to schedule time to get a call back from some one else.

Even you pay for full coverage you are not talking to a live person until you have:  gone through a robot, gone to a chat room just to have them send you articles to read and then maybe have THEM decide if your worth spending your full support dollars on a live person which by the way will call you and you'd better be sitting by the phone waiting for them.

You have to create a different calculation for every employee for every payrate.   When you have 50+ employees and they can work on 3-4 different positions and you have 6 wages scale jobs that is just too many calculations for 4-6 month projects.

There are different terms for invoicing (order entry) and purchase orders, which are 2 of my top functions in the current Sage software.

We are currently implementing shop management software (Strumis) that I'm hoping will cover our project management and payables approvals requirements, and if it does I will no longer use Sage 100. And *no surprise*

Human customer support is top notch, but, if the call is after hours or weekends, speaking with a human seems to no longer be an option and instead I'm forced to try and solve my issues with a useless AI bot.

Sage Construction Suite works really well on how it connects the financial side of construction business on what is happening on the job site.

I think a more direct option, possibly using dropdown menu's, at the start of each initial job set up pertaining to account allocation would be useful.

Reporting features, especially WIP reports, are detailed and useful for forecasting and decision-making.

Overall it is a great product, it has many features to help track what is needed, however it can feel a bit cumbersome due to its outdated interface.

We found that managing the certified payrolls could be a little cumbersome with detail in the fringe benefits.

I can't even import a .csv without some sort of 3rd party something that I can't even be bothered to look into because there's no way any additional costs will be worth it.

I like its simplicity,stability , and no issues with payment,also it is always accessible,not depending on network or cloud problems.
