I can quickly prep datasets for analysis or pull them into other systems, which saves a ton of time compared to manual manipulation or even basic scripting.

It can sometimes feel a bit clunky when dealing with extremely large datasets, and the interface, while functional, isn't the most modern looking.

Many tools do not work on server and there is no way of showing intermediate results on server. As these are two different products, one can't even file a ticket of improvement on designer's customer support.

It's a great tool for complex ETL and data shaping task and has lots of intuitive tools/features.   Unless you buy the server package for a high up-front fee, you don't get much schedule or automation unfortunately.

Best option for the visual analysts as it provides in depth analysis.

The parts I found most difficult to use were the neural networking/forecasting & macro/automation widgets & tools.

Storage options are also lacking especially cloud-based ones. Although, the vendor is considering support for this in the future releases.

The macro & automation functions really blew my mind and I never learned how to use them--for example, to loop through processes.  

Additionally, data prepping/cleaning, ETL operations, visualization, etc. are super easy to learn and implement.
