Good so far but pricing needs to come down to compete with Amazon / Google
- Sync is fast especially via LAN sync for my fleet using Dropbox - Works for all Linux Windows Macos and sync right away when file is changed - Easily share file via a link with one click in desktop app
- UI/UX sucks big time... The design team needs to justify their existence some how and burned lots of money / time into making not important features/ gimmic like its own file browser which is bad compared to Finder. - Slow UI for the new Dropbox file finder - Unclear business model... How is it competing with Google Drive/Amazon given that storage is now unlimited on all these clouds

Its got a fantastic Mac OS desktop native app that seamlessly integrates a folder on your desktop with your synced drive on dropbox.
Slightly expensive compared to other services like amazon cloud services but it is fast and reliable..

We never have files stored locally on our computers. All the files are either on Google Drive, Dropbox, or S3. Out of all of them, I love Dropbox the most since it's syncing is easy and the website UI is terrific.
In our company we use dropbox to share design files, such as sketch file, photoshop, or exported assets. It makes the file sharing between designers and developers super easy. We also use it for sharing with 3rd party companies for design related reviews.

Dropbox is a household name and is bare-bones, no frills.
Expensive, dropbox fails to its typically-free competitors such as Amazon cloud, Google, iCloud storage. The ability to find documents is also a bit counter-intuitive.

Amazing integration with all your devices. Manage everything with one Application and access your documents anywhere you need them. I particularly enjoy being able to access and edit documents on the go. Perfect effortless automatic synchronization
It is extremely expensive compared to what you get out there from amazon for example o from one drive from Microsoft. Even google has 100x storage of what dropbox offers for one customer.

i like it. I think they are doing the best they can. But google and amazon are gaining traction and I think google jsut integrates more. I am also being forced to go to office365 so I think we will probably use their native product since its included in the price.
Its very consistent and solid. It runs very well. Everyone knows it and trusts it name and brand. It integrates well into the corporate server
It constantly loses connection and the service does not auto start. So it takes a user to complain that its not synched. It also takes a really long time to synch when this happens and bogs us down.

Dropbox was one of the very first cloud-syncing solutions in the market and has managed to stay relevant despite strong competition from the likes of Google, Microsoft and many more. It was even almost sold to Apple once. But, it has shown little or no progress in many years since its interface, applications, and services have stayed invariable in many fronts. Making it a possible candidate for irrelevance...
Well-designed interface Strong security features Available for all desktop and mobile platforms Easy to setup
A bit more expensive than the rest Storage plans start at 1TB when most begin at 100GB Little or no innovation for some time now No backup oriented solution available as most sync only applications

Overall I like S3 it can be used as a good alternative for Dropbox and we transfer sites.
I loved this service. I used this when I had any digital products that consumers bought. I would just send the link or embed the files I uploaded on s3.
It’s was a little difficult to get multiple digital files to upload in order.

Overall, I am very satisfied with Amason S3. I haven't had any big problems, it's pretty good to be able to store a large amount of data, be 100% sure that they are safe, and not pay big money for it. It's pretty amazing!
Amazon S3 is quite similar to dropbox, but much better in my opinion, Just like in dropbox, you can add spreadsheets, PDFs, images, videos, etc at Amazon S3 and you can be 100% sure that they will be safe! It's not expensive, everyone can afford it, their security system is on point and there are no restrictions!
If you are uploading a huge amount of data it can be slow sometimes, it is known to lag which is not good. Another thing that's annoying is that you can't rename a folder, so if you want to transfer some documents from one folder you will need to create a new folder then copy-paste those documents to the new folder and delete the old folder which is time-consuming.

While it is great for a temporary server solution for your products, do not let it be your ultimate solution.
AWS allows users cheaper and kept up server services for people or businesses who cannot afford the money or capacity to maintain their own services. Doing this for my own podcasts and products were great.
AWS should be seen as a temporary solution for any serious business. If a business is not in control of their own servers, they risk their business being cut-off at a moment's notice.

I think it is a very reliable option for any project due to its security, easy use, and low cost. I recommend trying it.
Amazon S3 is very similar to Dropbox and also Google Drive. The information is well located and safe, I feel very comfortable using this tool. I recommend it if you are among several options, It is possible to store a lot of information.
I have no negative comments about Amazon S3, I am using the free trial version and I am very satisfied, that is why after the first year I am going to migrate my company to this storage cloud.

Amazon S3 solved our storage needs. Prior, the company was storing everything on their own servers. If the site went down, so did our files. Amazon's reliability is why we use the S3.
Amazon S3 is like Dropbox/Google Drive, but on Amazon's cloud server. That means, it's fast with a 99.9% uptime. All of our public-facing course material is secured on Amazon S3, and I don't have to worry about the server being down.
There's a learning curve. It's kind of ugly - I'm not expecting someone to use it right out of the box. There's lots of options to choose from, and you could accidentally expose all of your sensitive data if you didn't set it up correctly.

Fast durable and secure cloud storage from amazon.
As name this service is simple storage service from amazon. In this service amazon provide various tools where we can store many objective things like software, video, images, etc., with direct and secure link format.
Required cloud knowledge little bit. The cost of more Storage is quite unfavorable for small business.

We use S3 for both internal business use and external customer user.
We use Amazon S3 for many business uses. From storing user upload images , business data, application data, to rendered products. It is easy to put and get objects from S3 and has helped us scale our business exponentially.
There are not a lot of cons considering the versatility and price. One negative is the cost of moving objects out of glacier.

I like the fact that Amazon S3 offers a generous free trial. It's 12 months! Also, the pay as you go system allows flexibility in your business.
It would become costly as your business grows. That being said, they offer tiered pricing, which could make it cost-effective.

We are working on file manager design for health services and S3 has been our best pick to make this happen. Without S3, we might not have been able to do this. Thanks to Amazon.
My first love point is the documentations and easy integrations. Using the PHP SDK with the robust documentation had made our project fast and easy. Secondly, the cost... Using S3 for file storage is more cheaper than Dropbox. Thirdly: Ability to generate links and time of expiry is really great. I love this feature like cake.
We are expecting S3 to have a streaming feature. It should be possible to stream huge files directly without downloading it. Well, this feature does not affect us currently but we will definitely need this in the future.

We are chipping away at record chief plan for wellbeing administrations and S3 has been our best pick to get this going. Without S3, we probably won't have had the option to do this. On account of Amazon.
My most memorable love point is the documentations and simple incorporations. Utilizing the PHP SDK with the hearty documentation had made our venture quick and simple. Besides, the expense... Involving S3 for record capacity is more less expensive than Dropbox. Thirdly: Ability to produce connections and season of expiry is truly perfect. I love this component like cake.
We are anticipating that S3 should have a streaming component. It ought to be feasible to stream colossal documents straightforwardly without downloading it. Indeed, this element doesn't influence us presently however we will require this later on.

My experience with Amazon S3 has been great and my teams feedback is the same. The product line really helps you get a product into production quickly, and the support teams are very knowledgeable with their product line and industry standards to help with custom needs.
So functions with in Amazon S3 fit any line of business use case, and their custom developed integrations and 3rd party support are the best in the business in helping you deliver great products.
The only thing that I would say is that the learning curve to support teams developing on AWS is greater than other cloud providers.

Low cost storage to use for personal and business use.
S3 provides an incredibly low cost solutions with a lot of benefits. I love the flexibility and the fact that you can maintain your S3 solution using a Python API. It is super easy and cheap to host a basic static site from your S3 bucket as well. If you have never tried S3 then you have to.
Setting up the solution is complex and definitely mostly for technically strong individuals. The security aspect is especially complex.
