Pros

Been a great tool for my band to use and allows us to all stay on task and connected and moving forward been an amazing experience and easy to use.
Dropbox is a very good tool to have and there are other products available at a much affordable price. I think it can be improved further and made more affordable in data storage packages.
Dropbox is the best file management service I've used. Their plans are great, their revisions for documents feature is great, and the apps all work really well.

Pros

Used it multiple times to pay for travels and hotels is Asia, where the hotels don't have PayPal or accept credit cards. Super awesome service, and you feel secure from start to finish.
It’s really good to have transfer space of up to 2gig but also I like that quality of pictures and videos are not compromised. It’s very easy to use, you only need emails to transfer files.
WeTransfer is great for sharing files, and the best for sharing large-sized files. It is fast, reliable, easy to use, and has an amazing interface.

Cons

Extremely poor customer support, lack of empathy and flexibility. Refusal to settle disputes equitably.
Some of my other friends swear by Dropbox but i am one of the few that have had enough problems with it that i jumped ship.
Customer support and just finding that support team stinks. Go on their forum or whatever they call that to look for answers, I hate searching as I’m frustrated enough trying to figure out.

Cons

Only negative is that some companies have fire-walls that block WeTransfer links, preventing the files from being downloaded from their servers.
I am unable to think of anything negative about my experience with this software.
If for some reason I forget to download, I have to request it again. Taking that out would not have things to criticize.

Drobox review

Reviewed 2 years ago

There are easier ways to send and receive large files. I recommend WeTransfer.

Pros

I like the ease of use and accessibility for everyone that I share with.

Cons

I don't like now that it's "Full" it keeps prompting me to add more space i.e. buy more space. Also, deleting contents within a shared folder is tedious. And if you just unshare it, you still have the files.

Dropbox Review

I would use it for smaller projects, but for bigger projects I would use google drive or wetransfer.

Pros

I do like being able to upload files directly from my desktop via a drag and drop style capability. I find that it uploads my files quickly so that I can send out files to friends and cilents.

Cons

I find getting someone a dropbox link to be rather difficult and they will often need their own dropbox link in order to use it. Although many people already have dropbox, there is a lot of people that I've run into that do not have it.

Dropbox at a glance

Reviewed 2 years ago

Dropbox could offer more free storage. I mostly use it when accepting file transfers from other people.

Pros

Very efficient in what the product does and it's easy enough to share documents. Ease of use does not compare to, say, WeTransfer.

Cons

Not enough storage on free version and limited transfers. Forced to delete files which is inconvenient. Forced to sign-up to use the product

Tons of space, can be challening to manage

Reviewed 2 years ago

Overall, great for managing assets and storing files in a space cloud-space. Love dropbox over Google Drive and Wetransfer for its ease of use and simple desktop integration.

Pros

The dropbox interface makes it easy to share and work on projects as a group, or even just to have a simple place to keep documents for reference. The paper app bundled with the file manager is clutch for collaborations on different documents.

Cons

It can be a little difficult to sort folders if you have alot of files, especially if they have duplicates. I needed to sort a ton of photos for a client and used the desktop app over the web interface as I could open multiple tabs and place things much easier in the Mac Finder app.

Dropbox Business

Hardly ever use it anymore

Reviewed a year ago

My overall experience has been good. I just feel like I don't need this software anymore, having other, easier-to-access options.

Pros

I can't deny it's a powerful and useful tool for uploading files to a cloud storage. Its free version is very generous and store up to a large number of files.

Cons

However, I hardly ever use it anymore due to other mobile-friendly options such as Onedrive and Google Drive, as well as other ways of sending large-size files such as WeTransfer.

I like Dropbox Business, it's very easy to use and share work this way. My only wish is that we got notifications when someone downloads your file - like you do with WeTransfer

Pros

Easy storage - just drag and drop - easy to share folders and links too!

Cons

No notifications that someone has downloaded your files

Online storage service

Reviewed 3 years ago

There's truly no drawback to utilizing Dropbox. It's what might as well be called filesharing on a multi-PC system and utilizing WeTransfer. Endeavoring to resize records for sending through email is a colossal issue, and utilizing sites like WeTransfer come up short based off the quality of your web association since they depend on transferring and quickly sending, rather than simply transferring and holding up until the point that the other party chooses to download.

Pros

Secure ready to set up two variables of validation. Probability to store distinctive sorts of records on the web. Possessed the capacity to get to my documents from any area with having to physically convey them. Forming highlight enables me to backpedal and see changes or analyze content. Capacity to reestablish erased records. Offer particular records or envelopes with particular clients. Incorporation...

I use this from time to time to send large files to our clients.

Pros

It is very easy to use and is a great way to send/receive large files or large quantity of files between you and your clients.

Cons

The first few times of using it I thought it could've been more straight forward on how to use it. I think WeTransfer is easier. It also could've been the way our administrator set up our account.
