What is IDEA Architecture?
IDEA Architecture is a building information modeling (BIM) software designed to help organizations create 2D and 3D architectural designs and manage rendering, animation, 4D scheduling, 5D costing, and other operations. The application enables users to modify different BIM entities like length, width, and angle of beams, roofs, walls and stairs, rotation in gables, and more via a unified portal.
IDEA Architecture includes real-time OpenGL rendering functionality, which allows designers to render, view, and browse projects while rotating, modifying, or moving the elements. It offers various features such as annotations, real-time zoom, orthophoto maps, design preview, notifications manager, data import and export, protected files, and more. Teams can also convert 3D objects into vectors, edit DWG drawings and share 2D or 3D files with other users.
IDEA Architecture includes parametric objects’ libraries, which let users choose and define the material, size, and other attributes of various design elements to produce automated 2D and 3D designs. The platform also allows organizations to export models to generate 360-degree walk-through videos of buildings.
