Being able to track ticket sales in the app.
I wish you didn’t have to enter an email address for every person in your party when purchasing multiple tickets.

I had a problem with funds from ticket sales being available before the event date launch....which is important if ticket sales are a primary revenue base to pay entertainment
The software was very easy to navigate and I especially enjoyed the ease of use of the invite. Everything linked up perfectly , there were no errors at all related to functionality.
I would have to say in comparison to Eventbrite , Eventzilla wasn't as connected to the google search engines as immediately as Eventbrite. I expected to be live on the web search engines much sooner then I was.

Easy set-up to follow, love the template and preview pages, easy to export names, good stats recorded, prompt customer ticket service.
Quick and easy, like using link to go to a full blown events info page Like feature that can have ticket order holder and then they individually add the ticket attendee
Couldn't switch off "View Other Events" button. Didn't wish for one group to see another event, wanted to keep them quite separate.

Fine for our needs.
Suits our needs for ticket sales and renewing club dues on line.
Tried to use it for registering archers for shoots. It is not made for that.

We run many cultural events and performances, all free of charge. So we needed a professional solution for ticket handling that solves many logistic issues, starting with ticket sale windows, personel, ticket printing and event entrance control. With Eventzilla we solved all these issues and many more. Social marketing gets boosted on the fly and post event CRM is pretty cool and helpful also.
Everything! It's really easy to set up and to customize your event tickets. Plus the fact that you can do check-ins with a barcode scanner or your mobile phone gives your attendees a much better impression of your events. Social media promotion is a great plus, but getting feedback from your attendees with customizable surveys gives Eventzilla a big plus over other ticket software.
No sitting map configuration yet. Other than that, everything is great.

ease of management of our event from ticket sales to scanning people into the venue
Individuals can book their own tickets easily and quickly without it being a drag on one of our members time. Ability to have different discount codes
Having to have our own payment gateway, we would have preferred a system where payments were made instantly to Eventzilla and then forwarded to us on a daily / weekly basis

Ability to hide EventZilla branding Multiple ticket types Some customization Email confirmation to particpants Custom fields
Internationalization: translations are extremely poor (for Event pages for example) Backend interface to create events lacks on UX Viewing confirmations is frictional Menu interface is overwhelming (many categories on sidebar, sometimes irrelevant and confusing) This software needs definite improvements in the UI

I used the product for a smaller group of 75 and a conference for 200. When I needed the features, that prior to the event seemed to set Eventzilla a part, to make managing the larger event easier for me, they seemed to all need trouble shooting and the customer service was hard to find and when I did talk to them it took days to resolve anything. overall it is just ok. I think I chose eventzilla because the cost was effective, but I was more frustrated than happy when I used it on a larger scale.
I could embed a widget on my site, custom registration fields, and tiered ticket sales options
the badge print feature, refund process, customer service, the code redemption process was clunky, the widget kept a side scroll bar when embedded

Great, use it yearly.
Being able to have a ticket system that collects the info for us and also allows us to email attendees. Useful for updates and then even follow up surveys. I also love the different ticket options. Different "tiers" of tickets along with cut off dates makes having our conventions that much easier.
Nothing that I have noticed yet. Keep it up

I used to LOVE this system but now it has gone to $#IT. Going elsewhere.
I really enjoyed the simplicity of the previous system. It was powerful in all the right ways - mass communication with HTML capabilities, order and attendee sorting, third-party merchant services integration, easy to use event page layout designer, etc... All of the above have slowly declined in reliability and there are many glitches in the system now.
1. Setting ticket sales dates do not work accurately and are off by DAYS. 2. Ticket sales quantities are no longer registering and have caused issues with overselling, thus having to manually refund. 3. Glitches in sold out capacities where new ticket sales show up as "sold out" immediately. 4. Customer service response times used to be a few days, now I don't even get a follow up. Their chats are...

Great platform does what I need it to do without being difficult to use.
This product is easy to use. Everything is in individual categories making is step by step to set up for whatever you’re trying to use this platform for.
I would like to see a simplified yes or no rsvp without having to be a ticket sale.

It has been good so far with a few frustrations of not understanding the ticket setup. Customer service has been pretty responsive.
I liked that it was easy to setup a new event. The step by step process explains most of what is needed, especially for simple events.
The reporting is not the best and trying to have different ticket options in terms of limiting amount of tickets sold per timesolt. It is not so easy to set up.

We needed an online system to take hundreds of solo, duet, trio dance registrations for a video dance contest as well as to process ticket sales for the live event. We needed it to have low fees (or zero) as well as the ability to pass on fees to the customer. Eventzilla did all of this easily! From customizing the registration forms to processing refunds and exporting reports - it was a breeze!
Everything! Very user friendly interface, all of the basic features anyone would need and the price is right!
It would have been nice to be able to completely customize the ticket/reg main page a bit more.

Fast, intuitive setup; great support from CHAT; lot of great features... so far, so good!
I was looking for software that would support multiple events (workshops and webinars) and allow me to manage complex registrations (several promo codes) as well as send reminders to attendees without me having to remember. This system solved that. I got up and running within a couple of hours setting up 4 events. Had a few questions but CHAT support addressed them the next day. So, it supports complex needs yet is fairly intuitive to use.
Like anything, I'd like to get the "biggest bang" for my buck. It is less expensive per ticket sold than Eventbrite but since I am just starting, have yet to see how it is "in action". At a certain point, I'd prefer to pay by subscription rather than per ticket if sales increase.

I have been using Eventzilla for over 15 events. Overall, I am satisfied with the service. But, it could be better.
User friendly, Structured Layout for event page and way better than EventBrite :)
1. Server is rather slow (I am based in Malaysia) 2. New layout is okay, but lost its focus for 2 elements: Event Logo (too small), Available Ticket (this is crucial, as Available Ticket is used to create urgency. The font size is not as prominent as before. ) 3. Chinese characters support. <- Come on...........really.

I've used Eventzilla for several years and will continue to use for events that are free.
I like that I can customize the the registration link with the event name in it. I like that you are able to create more than one ticket type.
I didn't like all the information requested if you're having an event where fees are collected. Most sites just send you the payout to whatever address you select. Eventzilla wanted bank information for the company which I was unable to provide.

I loved the feature to email all registrants directly with any changes or updates. I also liked that each registrant received a ticket that included the meals they selected.
I wanted to be able to send certificates to each attendee after the event but was unable to do so.

Slightly cheaper than eventbrite. Does all the basic things required for a ticketing site..
Booking fees per ticket are too high for a software product. Some parts are clumsy interface with too many steps to get to important things, like edit/preview an event, changing ticket end date. Have had various complaints from customers not able to process fees on paypal. The customer service repsonded but couldn't find anything wrong.

We love that Eventzilla allows you to make your own questions as part of registration in order to correctly collect all of the data needed to ensure we are set up. Highly recommended!
I love that Eventzilla is a trusted site that has been around for 9 years. It offers setting up the event, sending invites, collecting payments, as well as tracks attendance to give you great data.
We had a glitch a few years ago with the ticket posting, but it was corrected. Very few errors, great product. Well worth it!

Eventzilla has enough features. Great pro is that the customer payments are available immediately via Paypal. Small con: you can cancel an order but not an individual ticket inside an order.

Super easy to set up an event. Excellent batch of features such as mailing lists and registration type filtration. Only site we use for hosting events!
The costs add up with any ticket-hosting software, but that's the only thing would could complain about and it's an industry issue, not Eventzilla's issue.

Our church was planning an event that we wanted to offer to the entire community, but had limited availability. Eventzilla enabled us to plan, promote and appropriately control the number of participants for the event. Integration with the payment system was awesome, enabling us to take credit card payments to cover our costs. Great experience.
The software was very easy to configure and use for the event I managed. I am used to using online software for a variety of things, but I would say that any person without a phobia of technology could navigate the experience.
There were a couple of times where I needed to look at event Participants separately from Ticket purchasers, and this was confusing in the reports section.

The number one reason Eventzilla is way better than competition is the immediate availability of fees collected. This means you get your money while your making the costs, and not months later.
If you really want a con I can say that I would like the management of discount codes easier. The overview gives little information (ticket type / validity / discount offered)

My experience has so far been fine. I haven't used it as a default but some event organizers have chosen this platform, so I've had a chance to check it out.
The cloud based operation makes it less likely tickets will get lost, or in the worst situations (of which many of us have experienced) tickets that aren't actually real.
The Website is a little convoluted and pretty difficult to navigate. I think with a little work this can be a strong substitute for current hegemon of ticket brokers.

It is very easy to use, you have many options to delete the mark and leave it in white mark, intuitive for the customer, generally good system of ticket sales and registrations for events and seminars.
They should add more options, improve the translation to other languages, be able to add attachments and that arrive because sometimes it does not reach the client if you want to resend your accreditation.
