The Cost and the fact that it keeps going up but not adding new features or fixing known issues.

Any associations with international members, do not use this product unless you want to spend extra time using the virtual terminal or a third-party merchant.

When our organization first subscribed to this platform, we were very unsure of theire capabilities. As we increased our programs, Starchapter accommodated us with what we ask for.

I like the reporting function and the dashboard as they are very useful to use in completing my association reports.

Only downside is that we do get spam or phishing emails from Contact Us form submissions.

The elimination of 3rd party payment processors in favor of its proprietary (and extra cost) StarPay system means we have to use payment links to the processor instead of keeping everything within StarChapter.

Response time seems to be a little longer than when we first started using.

I don't have major problem yet, but the biggest Con I have is that it is a pretty vast system and coming from Nothing to this it just takes time to learn it.

It has been very difficult for members to renew their membership or new members to join using Star Chapter.  

No Ability to vote on items in the backlog.

With additional options for reporting and arrangements set up - it would be better.

Not to mention, the media gallery is broken more often than it is operable.

What I like most about StarChapter is that it's easy to navigate and easy to update content.

The back end is logical but not intuitive. Once you know where something is or how to use it, it works great but those things aren't always intuitive.

As a new user, I'm very pleased with StarChapter and the enhancement it has provided to our association management.

I love the website that was designed and how easy it is to manage for administrators and members/guests.

The external facing side of the site is okay, though the division of content makes it difficult to navigate if one doesn't know exactly where to go.

As far as software systems go, StarChapter is easy to learn and yields a great product/website/management system.

Even with its cost and difficulties I believe StarChapter still allows for easy updates for the important things like events.

I find it hard to use because training is not part of the limited onboarding experience.  

It's hard to use unless the user is experienced in website design.

Typically the software is laggy.   When you create an event, it's not a smooth transition between screens.   If you're editing an event, it don't allow you to continue through the process, but rather makes you exit each screen, even if you're needing to adjust multiple areas of the event (details vs tickets vs registration, etc - there are like 6 screens but you have to exit each screen rather than continue to the next screen).

New system for us and just trying to learn all system can do.

The service works well and provides a lot of value.
