What is MobaXTerm?
MobaXterm is a remote desktop software for Windows with an X11 server, which provides networking tools such as SSH, VNC, MOSH, or FTP and Unix commands in a single portable exe file, helping businesses connect and handle tasks or applications on remote computers.
MobaXterm allows IT administrators to launch and create various remote sessions and run Unix commands via tabbed terminal. The built-in graphical tool includes fast picture viewer, text editor, file/folder comparison, and packet capture functionalities, which lets developers drag-and-drop files directly from the remote server using a secure SSH connection. It also offers a variety of other features such as master password protection, profile script modification, X11-forwarding, multi-execution, session sharing, and a graphical SSH tunnels builder.
With the session manager, users can access RDP connection settings and bookmark the settings stored in INI files. MobaXterm embedded terminal helps IT professionals analyze log files, edit code, detect important keywords, or build new syntax definitions through coloration of keywords or highlighted syntax.
