Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

this+that overview
What is this+that?
this+that is an AI-powered workflow automation and task management platform designed to transform communication messages into actionable tasks and automate their execution. The software consolidates messages from Gmail, Outlook, Slack, and Microsoft Teams into a unified stream and leverages artificial intelligence to identify tasks, requests, deadlines, follow-ups, and commitments embedded within conversations. It addresses the challenge of work items becoming scattered across disparate communication channels by surfacing action items automatically.
The platform is organized around three core functional components that work in sequence. The Connect feature enables integration of Gmail, Outlook, Slack, and Microsoft Teams within a single consolidated message stream with minimal configuration. The Extract capability applies AI to read incoming messages and automatically surface task items before threads are opened by analyzing full conversational context. The DoBox component serves as a centralized task repository that aggregates action items from all connected channels while providing functionality for task assignment, priority setting, and progress tracking without manual spreadsheet updates.
The Workflows component provides visual automation powered by AI and uses a trigger-condition-action framework to execute predefined responses automatically. Incoming messages act as triggers, AI classification supplies conditional logic, and automated actions perform tasks such as email forwarding, message labeling, archiving, and notification routing. The platform includes ten preconfigured Model Context Protocol servers compatible with systems such as GitHub, Notion, HubSpot, Jira, and Dropbox and supports integration with additional servers. Workflow creation requires no coding and can be customized using user-defined rules.
An inbox analysis tool operates as a read-only, browser-based function that requires no data storage while providing insight into potential time savings. The user interface presents a consolidated inbox view with standard folder structures including Inbox, Sent, Draft, Labels, All Mail, Spam, and Trash. Continuous operation ensures that incoming communications are processed and work items are executed automatically without active monitoring.
