Adobe XD was quite late to the market of website design-centric software. Sketch was a big player in this scene, and Figma quickly caught up to Sketch... Adobe XD kinda lurked in the scene but never really caught up to Sketch. We moved quickly away from XD to Sketch and now to Figma.

I have been able to rapidly prototype my experience designs for web and mobile without much hassle while using assets from the rest of Adobe's creative suite.

It blends well with the other Adobe products I have, its a good integration and makes life a bit easier. But when it comes to hardcore designing and collaborating with my clients, sketch is the standard and everyone has it to begin with.

I use XD for wireframing, designing UI for web and mobile apps and so far I felt good as I'm already an Adobe user so it feels like using the familiar tool. Sharing and prototyping is also good enough but sometimes I feel that XD doesn't have some features that Sketch and Figma have or maybe it's not widely accepted in the market yet but It's an Adobe product so I think in coming years it will be the leading tool for UI/UX designers.

I use XD for wireframing, designing UI for internet and cell apps and to date I felt right as I'm already an Adobe consumer so it appears like the use of the acquainted device. Sharing and prototyping is likewise right sufficient however every so often I sense that XD does not have a few functions that Sketch and Figma have or perhaps it is now no longer extensively universal withinside the marketplace but however It's an Adobe product so I suppose in coming years it is going to be the main device for UI/UX designers.

Most professional UI tool

I've used multiple UI design tools trying their different features and capabilities and I like Sketch. It has been the leading tool in the industry for a long time and has a lot of support and plugins and a good community. When Adobe XD came out it forced Sketch to continue to try to innovate and provide new features and I think it's progressed a lot. It's a really well rounded tool.

I started my design carrer with sketch, I like the fact I paid once and had it all the time in all its power but then the disappearings started to occur and new competitors appear on the horizon so I moved my self to figma, nonetheless sometimes when I don't know how to do smth in figma I go back to sketch, I just know this interface the best

Overall, Sketch has been good to me. I keep learning about new functionalities and it's my go to for design. I'm even starting to do some thing in Sketch that I would normally do in Adobe Illustrator too.

Best Software Ever

Sketch will be my go-to UX wireframing and design tool moving forward. It has just about everything I need and a wealth of plugins and toolkits available online.

A solid platform for UXers

Sketch is decent, but it's difficult to justify using it now that tools like Figma exist. Figma does a better job in almost every field, and therefore as an overall tool Sketch remains a runner-up. On the other hand, if you have to use it, or if the team has a preference for it, you won't have any problems.

Superseded by better alternatives

Using Sketch is almost second nature, especially for designers who have used Adobe Illustrator, Axure, or Adobe XD. It handles libraries very well, and has a decent import function for EPS and Illustrator assets. But, it doesn't play very well with Adobe's tools. Given that XD can now import Sketch files, the advantage is slowly shifting back to Adobe as the Creative Cloud is platform agnostic and can read Sketch content and share it across users of all platforms. Sketch gets bonus points for making Adobe embrace plug-ins, however.

I have had an overall great experience with this app. I don't use it that often, but when I do, it's such a delight and such a pleasure.

However, I figured out the problem was that it was the wrong version for my computer, so I just had to download a different version (so, technically it was my fault).
