Claris FileMaker is the ideal tool for the enterprise to automate workflows, organize internal processes and create apps for specific uses.

The Scripting environment has become easier with type-along assistant and the ability to cut and paste code between calculation ans scripts in other databases.

Right now, I'm obliged to keep my personal and business life separate which might seem fine on the surface but I would like to take advantage of Filemaker for personal projects too, which is hard right now.

A) UI: the interface engine is completely outdated for a modern app, is not that you can't build beautiful UI, you can, as far it does not require real responsiveness and conditionals. When a layout (page) needs to have a dynamic interface, which means conditionals for show/hide elements and adapt the rest of the elements, you just can't.

Love how easy it integrates with iPads as well.

Claris FileMaker provides a set of tools that improve remote workflow management.

Their emails asking for payment are completely blank emails from a suspicious email address, with an attachment.  

For nowadays the web design moved to dynamic UI where less is more, if you want an interface to be easy to read and understand, you really need to show less data at the same time, for that you need dynamic and flexible UI, which is not possible to build with Filemaker.

Flexibility, Ease of Use - This software makes it easy for almost anyone to develop a business solution.    When I started using it, I had never done any development and still found the software intuitive.    As I learned development in other platforms, I fully realized the brilliance in their UI.

They then sent those blank emails a couple more times and today started threatening to send the account to debt collectors.

Over the years they have made significant improvements and added many new features that I have yet to fully explore. But one thing I really like about FileMaker is that you can create a vast array of layouts (different data) from the same records without having to fiddle through sort features.
