I'm using it as a frontend developer, so when i open the document it's already created by a designer. I use the sketch document to get the visual aspect of the app/website, exports visual elements etc.

Its great software for design. You can learn the tools quickly and the layer functions are intuitive. Seems to be built for modern tools instead of sticking to the original procedure of a tool that is long outdated.

HIGH VALUE SOFTWARE

I use Affinity for logo design mostly. I tend to only use it when Sketch isn't able to perform complex boolean operations for shapes, but I'm aware of the powerful features it has for vector artists. Great product overall and definitely better than Illustrator

Its strong point is in printing, because it offers a complete control on color profile and, if you are designing with Pantone print support, the complete ICC and CMYK color management is integrated.
