Though Teachable is less appealing compared to its rivals, Kartra for instance, it still claims to make the learning experience rich and easy to navigate on learners' portal: you can upload all that you see appropriate for your course completion.

It was not scalable enough if you plan to mix subscriptions, coaching mentorings, 1:1 sessions, with private areas for individual students, etc.

I have used Teachable particularly for developing courses for adult, professional learners.

yet, I like it best for its rich features when it comes to building courses, particularly quizzes, certification and user-friendly dashboard.

The amount was successfully deducted from my debit card, yet Teachable claims the payment was declined.

The promotion felt misleading, and the billing and access issues have not been handled transparently.

Teachable’s platform gave no warning of potential fund holds, and their total silence has made it impossible to resolve the issue.

This has derailed my learning plan and is totally unacceptable.

We initially found Teachable to be a user-friendly and affordable platform for launching our course.

It is very easy to navigate as both a creator and as a student.

You will submit another email requesting an answer and they will reply with an emailing asking for information they had already requested in order to submit the initial help email, or what they refer to as a “support ticket”.

I can see individual students log ins and progress on individual courses - but overall unable to see for instance, a list of students that havent' logged in for a certain time period - I have to look at each student individually.

The payment can take weeks to reach my bank account.

They have the ability to create a quiz but that quiz can only be multiple choice and the multiple choice can only have one correct answer.

Nice looking and quite simple to use for the basic stuff

Teachable also doesn't integrate with SCORM which is a type of interactive course building file which is really state of the art.

Therefore, the assessments are very limited you can't have students reflect with writing in their own words or you can't have any other type of question other than multiple choice.

However, as I mentioned earlier, some users have also reported issues with Teachable's pricing, payment processing, and design customization options.

This is the best for course creators who have >=5 course.

You also don't have to worry about managing customer logins to your own website for security since all that happens on Teachable's system.
