Online OCR is a web-based optical character recognition solution for businesses of all sizes that can scan and extract text from PDF documents and create an editable word document with the copied text. While English is the default language setting, the system can recognize 46 different languages and extract the text in multiple languages which can then be consolidated into one. The system can also recognize text from any scanned document, which includes PDF files, digital captured images, and photographs.
Online OCR has the ability to compress zip files with supported file types such as JPEGs, JPGs, GIFs, BMPs, and more into outputted formats including Adobe PDF documents, Microsoft Word and Excel documents, and simple plain text. The system features an email component that will scan and convert text into specific documents through a received or sent email.
