You can't view the test questions, so it's a leap into the unknown as a first time user. If you customise a screening question and need to edit it - you can't.  

The one year subscription only did not allow us to buy the subscription at this time, we would have definitely move forward if the monthly subscription was available

The possibility to integrate custom questions and pre made ones, I also liked the anti cheating system and the dashboard

Any other service out there would have just suggested a partial refund and a cancellation at the least, but their tactic is just referring to their non-refund policy and ignoring the customer's issue.

You will only be required to make a payment at the point when you need to share the test to your candidates.- One of my most favorite things about TestGorilla is the anti-cheating efforts they have incorporated into the application to ensure that the assessments are fair for your candidates.

Test Gorilla is a great over the internet tool that has helped us get the best candidates for the various job opportunities we have had in the recent past through online assessments (screening tests).- I like their numerous numbers of assessment tests that you can choose from.

TestGorilla has a fishy business model and customer support that is below any standard I have ever experienced in the past ten years I've been in this industry.

As a first time user from a small start up, we probably would have paid for a plan for a month or two - but can't justify the cost for an entire year for one hire.  

The verbal reasoning test passage is lengthy and so are the corresponding answers for selection.

One of the main reasons we chose Test Gorilla was to create tasks for technical roles.

You can't see the invitation or the rejection emails on the free plan.

It was okay, we asked our applicants for feedback and they thought it was exhausting and overwhelming.

My overall experience with TestGorilla has been positive, especially for streamlining pre-employment assessments.

For a startup, a monthly plan would suit best.

Also many of the questions can be answered in multiple ways leading to ambiguous scores. Once you rejected someone their names didn't disappear or go to another section.  

There is lack of integration with platforms for remote hire of contractors: UpWork, Glassdoor, Toptal.

The pricing model and not being able to change an assessment after a test. If you want to have 3 different tests for a junior, medior and senior developer, you need to buy 3 assessments costing roughly 150$ each. If you did not invite any other candidate to that assessment for over 1 month, the assessment is thrown away and you need to repurchase a new assessment.

It has a built-in library of 250+ tests as well as the ability to create s customized assessments with a range of questions such as essay, text, and video-based questions.

I was able to get the most common and expected screening tests that most employers want to use to get the best candidates.  

Some tests, especially for soft skills have a lot of questions - it splits focus and some can be not clear answered.

I contacted them and they said it is our policy  not to cancel!!

My favourite features are: The variety of tests, the ability to create specific links for different applicant sources, the automated rejections process and the downloadable excel reports which allow for filtering and sorting data and tracking responses from different advertisements.

I will make sure none of the companies I work with will ever be involved with this service.

I did not like the inability to modify my testing suite after the first interviewer. While I can see how this is interpreted as a feature, I would appreciate the ability to correct mistakes made in the original job posting or test suite composition.

The inability to change a test after its been sent to an applicant means multiple versions of the same test for the same position now exist and theres no way to "label" it to know which version has which testers, forcing me to open each option and look through the test names to find who im looking for.
