I unfortunately have to use this almost daily for designing cabinetry, and ordering. When I first started working for the company I currently do, they had me working off a version that is 6+ years old, and earlier this year we purchased the updated/live version, expecting the horrible, very obvious, bugs to be fixed, only to find out they have not been. While scrolling through lengthy lists of mods for cabinets, it will jump back to the top when you try to select something, it is extremely slow (I also run CAD programs that are twice as large, and they are way quicker than 2020, even in the 3D views), and finally, the most annoying issue is sometimes when you press the "undo" button, it will revert your whole design back to the back-up file (which does not back-up as often as you set it to as well) and there will be times when you hit the undo button to only find you have just lost over an hour's worth of work.

In some cases, my whole design ends up corrupting and upon opening the design I will receive an error message telling me the file is no longer compatible with Design 2020. If I add more than 3 or 4 catalog items it will crash.

The rendering system allows smoother rotation of the design to show customers.

I would have given a 6 out of 10 2 months ago because I felt that the rendering software had been the same quality for many years and the long wait times on some files is frustrating, but with the new rendering upgrades and cloud storage I would give it an 8 out of 10.

I liked having the different package tiers, so I didn't have to pay for things I didn't need like the manufacturer catalogs.

Thankfully I recently renegotiated our 2026 rate that is more palatable, however, I fear we will have no option but the defaulted rate next year.

It remains a reliable and capable program that gets the job done and supports a professional design process.

Very glitchy, does not load perspectives fully, files/designs get corrupted and cannot be fixed so the entire file has to be deleted.  

With the program priced at $2,500 per year, having to pay extra for assistance felt disappointing.

I am not sure what happened but the the new system is vey buggy and the drag feature will often lose contol and the cabinet will disappear or just plain drop off the grid and reappear when doing a renering.

I wish there was a way to use the 2020 Design program with a physical key version, as the new version seems to limit us, particularly with rendering.

It’s a solid choice for designers who need both functionality and flexibility.

The snap alignment system work much more smoothly.
