This platform is heavily skewed to Cellar Management and our Winemaking team are pretty happy with how they can produce Work Programs and manage fruit intake, cellar operations and the wines generally.

Being based in Australia, the invoicing simply cannot handle the WET tax calculations so we are having to do these manually to ensure we are compliant with ATO requiremnts.

Reporting is terrible and limited compared to other sofware packages and requires a great deal of time and manipulation in excel to extract the information required for production, marketing and finance.

During vintage, we can use a CSV file to upload multiple data from the density meter in one go - a great time-saver.

Winemaker 

It been great in general, the only feedback is that the vintrace wait until several users request some  features, this means takes long time to make improvements that can make big difference to people's work life when already been identify that would be a good one from a company.

Would have been good to add function to email/in-system notify someone say winemaker if result is abnormal. Or options to choose to be notified or to track specific tank if someone else update the result which is in high importance.

Need to go back into the SO to click on the Xero link to invoice the customer When correcting a dispatch, the volumes of each stock item revert to zero.

There are plenty of features that if utilized correctly, are a great benefit to the production of the company.  

No ability to view a stock dispatch from the Sales Order When pulling a report, cannot select multiple options

We can't customise invoicing or the Dashboard, which has been designed purely with Cellar management in mind.

Looking at all 2019 wines and then clicking on one to check analysis then going back to 2019 vintage and it goes back to home page

Some bugs, e.g. not all containers showing on a docket when more than 10 are being loaded at once.

I do not believe the system should be advertised as being able to integrate with Xero it just data dumps as there is only a once of communication with Xero.

MYOB does not seem to have a problem with the different reporting calculations with WET but vintrace does especially when inter-grating with Xero.  

It would be good to be able to click on this location to see which customers have reserved the stock When conducting a dispatch search, it would be good to search by customer

It can be annoying when it keeps clearing the search if you go into a product and then come back out without clicking on the correct link.

There are other production softwares that simply do a better job with ease of use and onboarding a team.  

No easy way to ensure that costs allocated in Vintrace reconcile to the relevant invoice/Cost of Sales accounts in Xero

It would be much better to limit the ferments per year or volume than basic functionality to match the pricing tiers.

Initially, the user interface was what attracted us to the software.

It is difficult to handle a barrel, control/track a single barrel, or join a barrel to the barrel group.

We had used several other methods for winery and warehouse stock tracking.

It wasn't necessarily easy to get used to it, but once you start using it on a daily basis, it becomes a real tool and helps you keep track of your wines and jobs.

Have to split up each Xero invoice to correctly report the WET.  

The vineyard module is a little confusing with respect to calculating yields but otherwise it is fine.

I’m not sure the new user inter Is better than the old classic interface, though the underlying functionality is.

Small wineries have most of the same requirements as large - for example bottling.

I believe integration is the higher rock block in Winemaking industry - companies should talk to each other.

The platform combines the need to always think ahead regarding whatever is needed as input for a direct action or work order, in addition to intuitive steps to complete recording and approval of the action.

InnoVint is a bit pricey, and like with any program, data entry is tedious.

Consistent improvement and addition of new features is a big bonus.

Customer service is white-glove, and support staff understand the industry intimately.

It seems much more geared to winemakers and cellars than other database programs (I have used 4 others in the past).

Also, the inability to set a order of importance (or Priority) for WO's during busy period (harvest or bottling) can create challenges.

We’ll use a keg of wine to top all whites or reds and can be monotonous to check each barrel the wine went into.

It's pretty much everything you need to track and care for your wine.-- Some things you don't know you need until you don't have it, but for 99% of things innovint already has you covered--they've already thought of it.

Exceptional product and stellar customer service!

App is a little behind on seeing detail on historical events on wine lots and history of analysis for vineyard blocks, but this is rapidly changing and frequently being updated.

The wine industry is finally free from old Microsoft Access tables and remote desktop implementations of cloud services, and we couldn't be more stoked.

We've used other platforms and felt like they all fell short--Innovint has everything you're looking for and more.

That is if someone makes a mistake entering in a code or possibly inputting a barrel into the wrong lot it can be a bit challenging to change this short of deleting all of the work you have put in the system.  

Innovint stores all of your winemaking history and data in one easy to use interface, making the recall of data easy.

Finally, I wish there was a better recurring work-order system for harvest.

It can be a bit challenging to get inventory items switched around.  

Great functionality and features are worthless without data input.
