The software delivers CJIS-compliant incident management functionality that tracks incidents and related evidence records from initial call through final case resolution. Specialized versions support non-sworn security agencies and educational institutions with requirements such as Clery Act reporting and student conduct incident documentation. The platform operates as a software as a service solution with primary servers at NLETS headquarters and mirror sites across multiple states, supporting both single-agency and multi-jurisdictional deployments.
The computer aided dispatch module provides integrated dispatch functionality supporting flexible dispatch, self-dispatch, silent dispatch and shared dispatch operations. Dispatchers select either a text-based command line interface or a menu-driven interface based on preference with each call automatically assigned a sequential incident number according to agency configuration. Integrated mapping enables dispatchers to locate incidents geographically and identify the closest available units for response assignment.
The records management component oversees the complete incident lifecycle for events such as accidents, arrests, bookings, citations, warrants, use of force tracking and race data collection. The data-centric architecture eliminates redundant entry by ensuring that information is immediately available to authorized personnel across the agency or multiple agencies in multi-jurisdictional deployments. The platform supports paperless operations by integrating reports, interviews, photographs, videos and briefing summaries directly into incident records. The report builder tool enables creation of custom HTML five reports with graphs and charts for analytics with output available in Excel and PDF formats. The scheduled reports feature supports automated report generation and email distribution on one-time or recurring schedules. Mandatory report types including NIBRS submissions are generated with automated error flagging and remediation guidance to streamline the approval process prior to case finalization.
The mobile application operates on any internet-capable device with adequate resolution including tablets running Android or iOS, mobile data computers and desktop systems using Chrome, Firefox, Safari or Edge browsers. The mobile client automatically switches between online and offline modes based on signal availability allowing field personnel to continue working during connectivity loss and to automatically resynchronize data when signal is restored. Integrated mapping within the mobile environment displays route directions to incident locations and enables electronic ticketing and warnings to be printed and delivered in the field. The platform’s real-time resource sharing architecture supports operational partnerships where agencies share data, staff and other resources to address staffing shortages or major emergencies. Centralized administration enables continuous incremental updates to be deployed system-wide within minutes while role-based access controls ensure that users access only information appropriate to their authorization level.
