Learning to edit templates can be challenging at first if you are not familiar with Electronic Safety Management Systems, however, Support is quick to respond and help with any template issues we've had.

I think Corfix is a great Canadian based software that offers a unique feature such as COR audits, but I don't feel sold that its capabilities are to a level where it allows us to get rid of other safety software such as the Procore safety Module.

It is a powerful tool for us when it comes to pulling together our data and looking at reports for decision making.

Learning curve is present, for obvious reasons, but we’ve tested it for users with no experience, and they were able to navigate form completion with ease.

It’s especially useful for safety documentation, forms, and keeping field information flowing back to the office.

Furthermore, field teams can add employees as signatories to forms from anywhere, so supervisors that move around to multiple sites can still review and sign paperwork they were not present for.

Our teams report only minor issue with Corfix in the field and it is usually a Service Signal Deficiency and not a Corfix Issue.

Efficient tracking of inspections, deficiencies, and corrective actions

We use Corfix for most of our health and safety forms that our field teams sign on daily, weekly, and monthly bases, and as a document database for health and safety documents such as policies, procedures, safety plans, locates, inspections, etc.

There is considerably more work needed to make binders on corfix, especially when you are making job specific binders that have similar titled folders but different documents, due to the job-specific nature of these binders.

The initial data is lacking any ability to screen multiple tasks efficiently.

The system makes it easy to document site conditions and communicate corrective actions quickly.

However, the additional workload added to create multiple folders and manipulate files within these folders is much more complex and time-consuming than on the standard file explorer on windows.
