Once you are done answering termly's questions you end up with a pretty well structured and visually polished document that can  be incorporated into your website in a variety of ways.

It is great to have terms of service and privacy policies written for you to embed in website. When a policy changes you just edit the policy and click publish, no need to find every place on your website that you put the agreement to edit it.

There was one issue setting up Cookiebot in that the default consent signals weren't set to declined by default, which meant that cookie consent didn't work out of the box.

At €30 per month (was €15) for a simple consent banner, while alternatives like Cookiescript charge €8, Cookiebot is not worth it.

It became a bit more difficult when I needed to apply the cookiebanner in two languages on two domains, but that was also solved quite quickly.

Their website pricing page was not updated and completely out of line with what support told me.

The new  features make Cookiebot CMP a valuable tool for improving both legal compliance and user experience.

I didn't like the fact that the scan reports couldn't be generated more frequently, but that might just be an issue with the cheaper plans.

Google sees the CMP as the main content n the screen which affects your core vitals.
