There is no summary of the hours booked in the calendar by day, so you know how much work you have booked for each day.   And the work around requires using the calendar by technician, but the length of the calendar appointments default to 1 hour.  

The most basic reporting has too many variances - you can open 3 labour reports for the same period and all have different values for not only hours, but dollars billed. How are you supposed to run a business if you cannot trust the numbers in the system.  

Now you have to transfer all the line items of the work order, parts ordered, and the customer approval stays with the old work order.

The advisor has to make it the right length for each appointment, not based on hours estimated, then we have to revise the appointment as work is authorized.

We had a hard time scheduling our zoom calls/meetings during business hours. When owners work in the business, it is hard to jump on a call while the business is open - so most of the time we had a lot of distractions.

of the time we try to use parts tech to order parts we are met with an error message and have to close and reopen the browser. Since we have been using the software the payments screen will not load on the first try and sometimes it requires refreshing the page multiple times before you are able to take the payment from the customer.

The integrations for estimating saves a ton of time, but the automations for customer reminders, follow ups, estimate approval, e-signatures, and reviews is what I love most.

Some services I expected to have were not included, such as basic service notifications for customers, PartsTech is really not as good as just calling the local parts store, and there is no user-friendly mobile app.

You can quote something out, then it suddenly disappears, with line items disappearing from work orders.  

They even acknowledged the issue and were sending me data in excel for me to use because the reports were not correct.

It not only improves operational efficiency but also enhances customer experience. Whether you're running a single-location shop or a multi-bay operation, AutoLeap is definitely worth considering.

They had zero interest in figuring out a solution and simply told us you’ll have to look elsewhere, while saying we are locked into an auto renewed contract.

I'm sure they will introduce new features to address these gaps in the software, I'm also 100% certain that the new features won't work properly.

No oil filter information when you write someone up, you have to look it up, takes time, no direct air or cabin filter info which tire shop has.

Haaris Kirmani guide me thru the whole process and help me out with all details so I can understand all the features and now I can take full advantage of all the features that AutoLeap offer me.

AutoLeap has great marketing, and the demos look great, but in practice the software just does not deliver.

Archiving an estimate shows in recent reports as "unpaid" which causes us to never archive any estimates.  

Lack of bring your own number or voice integration: The SMS texting feature built into AutoLeap is handy, but it creates a customer experience issue as there are no voice integration options. If someone calls the number, they get a generic "not in service" announcement.

I feel the invoices could have a couple categories could be added for invoices that have to be paid for by the shop, invoices that are paid by extended warranties, and invoices that are customer pay.

I also like the fact that you can put in a vehicle tag number and it pulls up the vehicle and VIN.  

My favorite AutoLeap feature is that my technicians are able to complete an inspection online and I can then send it to the customer.

She really helped us get up to speed, was available for all my questions, offered to host multiple meetings to ensure i was comfortable with the system before going live. Since going live with AutoLeap, We have seen an increase in customer communications, less missed appointments, and we can track tech efficiency with the time clock option.

The conversion to AutoLeap was a true challenge and having to reverse migrate after only two weeks is a tough pill to swallow.

Parts ordering has become much more efficient for my service advisors as they have an integrated ordering workbench that shows our integrated suppliers and who has availability without having to exit programs and enter three or more ordering portals.
