ActiveNav Cloud is a data discovery service that discovers, classifies and scores unstructured data across a broad range of on premise and cloud repositories. Its unique visualization and data scoring algorithms enable organizations to identify and mitigate sensitive data hotspots, ROT, aging and stale data and out of retention records. ActiveNav Cloud builds and maintains an always-on inventory and presents everything in highly useable role-based dashboards to drive defensible data disposition as part of any governance or compliance program.

ActiveNav Cloud is deployed as a multi-tenant cloud service, hosted and secured in Microsoft's Azure infrastructure and certified under our ISO27001 security management program. It connects directly to unstructured data repositories such as on-premise or cloud file shares, Microsoft's cloud repositories including SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and Teams, Google Workspace Drive and more specialist environments like iManage.

Once connected, ActiveNav Cloud builds and maintains an inventory of all discovered data, presenting results in scalable role-specific dashboards which match data to geographic location, data ownership and repository showing sensitivity and compliance against privacy and any configurable data regulation. Dashboards are navigable and filterable and provide broad insights while allowing review down to a file or object level.

Discovery scales horizontally using a high-performance microservices architecture, operating across hundreds of formats including archive or compressed containers and can be distributed to accommodate data across a range of geographies. Classification and scoring is configurable and extensible to accommodate any business policy or control and comes pre-configured for modern data privacy regulations.

Once deployed and configured, ActiveNav Cloud monitors all connected repositories and provides up to date views of discovered data with a very low latency database architecture which avoids the need for lengthy overnight (or longer) processing. All dashboards can be queried and reviewed in detail and support integration with third-party applications such as automation and workflow, privacy management and metadata management.
