What is ClearCalcs?
ClearCalcs is a cloud-based structural design and analysis platform, which helps businesses in the engineering sector create and verify design and computations for a range of elements such as beams, columns, retaining walls, concrete footings, and more.
The application enables supervisors to generate calculation reports and print them into PDF formats. ClearCalcs allows managers to organize sets of calculations into projects, linking each of them to respective name, job number, or address. Users can also duplicate, archive, or delete projects. It also offers a host of other features such as 2D frame and truss analysis, team collaboration, audit log, remote access, multi-span beam analysis, data export, member scheduling, and more.
ClearCalcs helps link reactions between columns, beams, or foundations, letting engineers dynamically track loads through a structure. Professionals can use the autosize feature to select optimal members such as timber or steel for calculations and swap them using the change material feature.
