Previously I had used Toonly, Doodly, and Talkia. I find CS a big improvement
cs works with the computers we have, the skills we've got, and our budget. There are also a lot of training videos on YouTube
I can't export as GIF. I'm still working out how to manage archiving and cleanup of files I don't want anymore... This isn't in the start up instructions.

I feel I made the right decision, between CreateStudio vs. Doodly / Toonly vs. several other options I consider. CreateStudio is the option with good basic features without an expensive price tag.
A great product! Easy to learn and comes with great features even in the basic package. I didn't purchase any additional, only the Pro software, and it works out for my video creation/editing needs. It is a much better experience than iMovie, which I used initially.
More free templates for different use cases. It will boost productivity with much additional cost.

This software offers similar functions that are found in Toonly , Doodly and Camtasia. Very pleased with the continued development and support of the product. Well developed tutorial videos are top notch!
It provides professional 3D characters within a project with ease.
The talk action works ok but a lip sync function would be an improvement. The TTS voice choices are very limited.

I am in digital marketing and always investigate new products that could help me create attention getting video content. CreateStudio Pro is one of those tools.
I have used other animator products, like Explaindio, Powtoons, Doodly and Tunely, and Reallusion Crazy Talk Animator, and was skeptical of CreateStudio Pro at first, but it has surprised me pleasantly, and is much more feature rich than I expected. I get notified of new features regularly, which is also unexpected but great!
They are working on more transitions and wipes, so I do Special ones outside of CreateStudio in Corel Video Studio Pro, but I think I will see more of these added in the next year. I wish I could create custom hands for the writing, like dog paws.

Having used other types of animation style software like doodly and powtoon, I can say that I like the easy of use and versatility that createstudio offers. It's has a pretty strong set of abilities and it's easy to use them. Great options for the price you pay. You can always pay more for more options later.
It's ability to do things like whiteboard is limited and alot of features, like advanced templates are hidden behind additional paywalls that appear after you have already paid for the software. I've never liked that tactic, but it appears to be the standard as other similar software bundles offer the same type of service.
