What is EVOLVE Mechanical?
EVOLVE Mechanical is a software solution that substantially improves a mechanical detailer's performance and speed. It automates detailing tasks and makes it easy for mechanical detailers to transition to using Revit.
The software features tools to quickly select elements like pipes and ducts, assign spool designations, and produce prefabrication sheets with 3D views, plans, elevations, and bills of material. It also automates placing multi-tier trapeze hangers, avoiding clashes through collision detection. Sleeve placement is streamlined by embedding key points for easy export. EVOLVE Mechanical speeds detailing with multi-select trim, alignment for quick cleanup, and robust element filtering to isolate categories and elements. Layout points can be quickly placed, renumbered, and described before export to CSV/TFL files.
EVOLVE Mechanical is designed to be familiar and easy to use for CADmep users. It works directly with existing CADmep databases to ease the migration path. Customized Revit Fabrication training helps users fully transition from CADmep and start detailing faster. On average, customers are up and running on EVOLVE Mechanical within three days.
