We asked Aydin Mirzaee, CEO of FluidSurveys, a few questions about his company and view of the markets they serve.
GetApp: Who are you and what is your role in the company?
I’m the co-CEO of FluidSurveys, so I oversee and steer the direction of each development and marketing project in the company.
GetApp: Can you briefly present your management team?
At FluidSurveys, we don’t elevate the title of manager in the same way that other company’s may choose to. Everyone works on the same level, and we are all given massive responsibility and the freedom to accomplish our individual and company goals. We’re a group of extremely dedicated and driven people who don’t believe in the word “impossible”.
GetApp: Are you a Cloud or a Software-as-a-Service company?
I suppose definitions may vary from one source to another, but our perspective is that we are a SaaS company that operates in the cloud. Our clients log into our applications from anywhere in the world (cloud computing) and enjoy a fully-featured application from any workstation without downloading or installing any software (SaaS).
GetApp: How do you use and promote usage of Cloud Computing?
Our entire business lives in the cloud. Internally, we leverage cloud computing technology to share ideas, to keep track of project deadlines, and to coordinate meetings. Our customer-facing applications are also cloud-based. There is no downloadable version of FluidSurveys; it’s entirely online.
GetApp: What are the points of difference of your solutions?
Wow. So many to talk about. But let’s talk about Mobile. In the past, people would take surveys on their desktops. Now, you’ll get an email invite and check it on your phone. GetApp: What do you see as the key trend emerging in the industry?
I believe that the industry is going mobile. More and more Internet users access the web from their smart phones and tablets, which means that survey software has to adapt. FluidSurveys recently unveiled improved support and performance for mobile devices, which we believe will help a lot of customers to acquire better data.
