Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

AeroSight overview
What is AeroSight?
AeroSight is a cloud-based Flight Data Monitoring (FDM) and FOQA platform designed for aircraft operators of any fleet size, including commercial airlines, business aviation operators, and rotary-wing fleets. Hosted on Microsoft Azure and accessed through any browser with no software installation or operator-side IT infrastructure required, AeroSight automates the full FDR/QAR data pipeline: recorder file upload, decoding and normalization, flight leg detection, and exceedance screening, delivering reviewable safety events within minutes of upload. The platform supports regulatory compliance across EASA, FAA, and ICAO frameworks and has processed over 1.5 million flights for more than 100 operators worldwide since its 2016 launch.
AeroSight consolidates five functional modules on a single platform. The core Flight Data Monitoring module provides operator-defined exceedance thresholds via an Event Definition Sheet with per-severity, per-aircraft, and per-airport/runway settings, two-person sign-off, and full version history, alongside 3D flight replay in map and cockpit views, METAR weather pinned to each flight leg, current AIRAC navigational procedures overlaid on flight tracks, and programme-health KPIs aligned to EASA EOFDM WG-C. The Pilot Performance module tracks individual event rates, approach ratings, and most frequent events, with pilots able to view their own data. The Engine Condition Monitoring module generates automated ECM reports per engine-vendor criteria for CFM56 and V2500 engines, with parameter snapshots in Excel format. The Fuel Efficiency module measures fuel burn by flight phase and quantifies the impact of specific fuel-saving initiatives, all from existing recorder data with no additional equipment. An optional Live Fleet Monitoring module provides a near-live fleet map with current weather, runway, and procedure overlays. Supported recorder formats include Honeywell, L3, Teledyne, Safran, Avionica, and generic ARINC 717 and ARINC 767, covering 40+ aircraft types. Integrations are available with Leon Software, Avionica avSYNC, TrustFlight Centrik 5, and SafeJets.
AeroSight is certified to ISO 27001:2022 for information security and ISO 9001:2015 for quality management. Flight data is retained for five years, including after subscription ends, with full export in open formats. Operators retain complete control over event detection thresholds without vendor intervention, and accepted events can be delivered directly into SMS reporting tools. Access to aviation safety experts with over 20 years of flight data monitoring experience is included.
