Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Akkuro Core Banking overview
What is Akkuro Core Banking?
Akkuro Core Banking is a composable, microservices-based core banking platform built for banks and financial institutions seeking to modernize or replace legacy core banking infrastructure. The platform supports current accounts with real-time processing and flexible interest tiers, multi-currency accounts managed under a single IBAN, foreign exchange contract creation with self-service customization of forward contracts, and transactional banking via cards and cross-border payments. A low-code/no-code product builder allows banking products to be launched and configured without code changes or downtime, while an API-first architecture connects to fintech ecosystems, legacy systems, and third-party services. Deployment is cloud-agnostic, spanning public cloud, private cloud, on-premises, hybrid, and multi-cloud environments, with support for data residency and sovereignty requirements. The platform is also available as SaaS on cloud infrastructure including Microsoft Azure.
Target industries include retail banking, business banking for SMEs and corporates, wealth management, pension provision, and microfinance. Built-in compliance automation covers AML, PSD2, GDPR, Basel III, and SFTR across multiple regions. Automation-first workflows with straight-through processing reduce manual effort across compliance, risk, and customer interactions. End-to-end encryption, real-time fraud prevention, and zero-trust security principles are embedded at the platform level. Iterative implementation cycles incorporate System Integration Testing and User Acceptance Testing to support controlled rollouts.
Akkuro Core Banking includes an Agentic Banking capability described as an AI-native operating model that applies context, semantics, and controlled decision logic across banking workflows in real time. This includes a guided case experience layer to reduce manual back-and-forth in customer journeys, a visible intelligence layer for applying product and process logic consistently across workflows, and evidence and document intelligence for handling incoming documents across channels and formats. An AI-powered financial spreading capability, developed in collaboration with Microsoft, interprets SME financials in real time. An intelligent agent named Kuro supports financial product creation through natural language. The modular, composable architecture allows institutions to replace individual components without disrupting existing operations and avoids vendor lock-in, enabling products to be developed and launched independently of legacy systems.
