Avern is a two-sided advertising platform that connects brands with everyday drivers to turn vehicles already on the road into measurable out-of-home advertising.

Businesses can create vehicle advertising campaigns, define the geographic areas where they want their brand to be visible, select the number of vehicles and choose how they want to pay. Avern matches campaigns with drivers whose normal routes fit those areas and provides visibility into the kilometres driven during the campaign.

Instead of paying only for a vehicle to carry an advertisement, businesses can pay based on verified kilometres driven, with the option to assign different values to specific geographic zones. This allows brands to focus their advertising spend on the streets, neighbourhoods and areas that matter most to them.

Drivers can register their car or van, view campaigns available in their area, choose the ones they want to participate in and have the vehicle professionally wrapped. They continue driving their usual routes and earn money for verified kilometres completed while carrying the campaign.

Avern is also developing its Smart Mount, a vehicle-linked phone mount designed to help verify that tracked trips are completed by the vehicle carrying the advertisement. The system combines NFC activation, route verification and campaign tracking to create a more transparent connection between advertisers and drivers.
