Clip Architect is the desktop edition of MoneyPrinterTurbo, an open-source project for generating short-form video, rebuilt as a single Windows application that anyone can install and open.

The workflow is one sentence long: say what the video is about. From there the language model you configured writes the script and derives the search terms for the footage, a stock library or a folder of your own clips provides the picture, a text-to-speech voice reads the narration aloud, and FFmpeg assembles everything into an MP4 shaped for TikTok, Reels or YouTube Shorts, with the captions burned into the picture so they survive being cropped or reposted.

Two details tend to matter most in daily use.

The first is the review step. Before a minute of rendering time is spent, the downloaded clips are shown to you, and any of them can be reordered, replaced or removed. A poor match costs a click instead of a whole render, and a finished project can be reopened later to swap a clip and cut it again without going back to the script.

The second is cost. The application itself is free under GPL-3.0. The model picker can filter to models that charge nothing to call, and the bundled text-to-speech voices need no account at all, so a genuinely working first video can be produced without paying anyone. Where money is spent, it is spent directly with the providers you choose, on keys held in your own name.

Everything runs on your machine. Nothing is uploaded except to the provider you picked, finished videos are written to a folder you control, and no plan tier decides how many of them you may keep.
