Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Cluinn overview
What is Cluinn?
Cluinn is a Mac desktop application that combines voice-to-text dictation with a live call assistant, targeting individual professionals across sales, recruiting, consulting, engineering, writing, research, and customer support. The dictation feature transcribes speech at the cursor in any Mac app, with filler-word cleanup and per-app tone settings, and supports 35 languages (39 with regional variants). On Apple silicon Macs, speech-to-text can run on the Mac itself.
During calls, Cluinn auto-detects sessions in Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, Webex, Slack huddles, Discord, GoTo Meeting, and Whereby without adding a bot to the participant list. Live Assist answers questions mid-call drawing from everything said since the call started, including follow-up questions that retain conversational context, with answers retrievable from the first minute onward. Smart Cards surface unanswered questions, figures that do not add up, and unconfirmed promises without prompting. Speaker separation and labeling run on the user's Mac, with names pulled from the meeting window and not stored on servers. A full speaker-by-speaker live transcript is saved locally.
When a call ends, the Debrief feature automatically lists action items, reminders, and key points. The Coach feature provides per-call goal tracking with a summary of call performance. Voiceprints are not retained after a call ends, and all transcripts and call data remain in a local folder on the user's Mac, with optional encrypted cloud backup available. Cluinn has two paid plans, each starting with a 14-day trial: Basic covers dictation, and Pro unlocks the full call assistant feature set.
