What is Dokuflex Certified Email?
A Dokuflex certified email is sent through a trusted third party that records each milestone and issues a signed PDF of evidence. It replaces registered post for most B2B and B2C notices where you know the recipient's address.
The certificate contains sender and recipient, eIDAS time-stamps for each event, subject, body and attachments with SHA-256 hashes, the original .eml embedded in the PDF, delivery events with the SMTP response, and a code and QR that open a public verification page. With several recipients, each gets their own status and copy.
Three ways to send: the module screen, the document viewer (send this document, certified), or the 'Certified email' checkbox on any process email step.
Options: templates, bulk sending (up to 100 per batch), scheduled sending, SMS or WhatsApp alerts with receipts (alerts, not certified delivery), stand-alone certified SMS, and a response portal where the recipient accepts or rejects with a reason. Delivery status works with Amazon SES, SendGrid, Mailgun, Postmark, any SMTP or the Dokuflex relay. Signed webhooks, CSV export and a REST API connect it to your ERP or CRM.
Legal scope: ordinary electronic evidence under article 43(1) eIDAS, as the report states. It does not prove that a specific person read the message.
