Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Dosu overview
What is Dosu?
Dosu is cloud-based knowledge infrastructure for software development teams and coding agents. It monitors connected repositories, communication tools, and data sources to automatically generate, update, and share documentation. A shared knowledge base is accessible via an MCP Server, native chat, Slack, MS Teams, GitHub, and GitLab, handling issue triage, Q&A responses, and documentation maintenance without requiring manual input from engineers. Deployment is via a web app at app.dosu.dev, with integrations through a GitHub App, GitLab integration, Slack, and MS Teams. An MCP Server is installable via CLI, and self-hosting is available for large enterprise customers. A free tier is available for public open source repositories with no usage limits. Dosu is SOC 2 Type II certified and does not train on private data.
Dosu serves software development teams of all sizes, from individual open source maintainers to large enterprises, as well as teams using AI coding agents and organizations with high volumes of GitHub issues, discussions, and pull requests. Core capabilities include automatic documentation generation triggered by code changes and PR merges, one-click doc generation from recent repository activity, and a line-by-line diff review flow for documentation changes. Existing docs sync from Notion, Confluence, Coda, and repositories with no migration required. A fact-based reasoning agent answers questions grounded in connected data sources including code, pull requests, issues, and Slack threads, with confidence-based response gating that holds low-confidence answers for human review before publishing.
The MCP Server builds team-wide memory across coding agent sessions, providing a knowledge cache that delivers token-efficient context and allows agents to follow current best practices rather than legacy code patterns. Automated issue and PR labeling classifies content by type (bug, enhancement, question), and reusable templates support recurring tasks such as release notes, status updates, and triage. Custom response and style guidelines are configurable per deployment. An observability and analytics dashboard surfaces team activity and impact. Dosu also supports AGENTS.md, CLAUDE.md, and skill definition file maintenance directly in repositories.
