HandoverBoat overview
What is HandoverBoat?
Charter bases and marinas use HandoverBoat to keep a shared evidence record for every handover, not just another folder of phone photos.
Every photo is hashed with SHA-256 and timestamped on the server, then bound into a paired before/after PDF carrying a public verify link. The base, the guest, an insurer or a bank can open that link and independently confirm the photos are the originals, unchanged since handover.
The record comes from a 27-zone inspection, run at check-in and again at check-out: 16 critical zones covering hull, deck, engine, sails and safety gear, plus 11 optional ones. It takes about 45 minutes.
The inspection runs fully offline, because marinas rarely have signal where the boat actually sits.
Pricing scales with fleet size, from EUR 8 per month per boat up to enterprise plans. The inspection walk itself is free and needs no card.
