Paper harvest sheets cause three problems at a fruit or berry farm. Bins get counted twice: once in the field and again for pay. Pickers dispute their pay because nobody can show which bins were theirs. And before a GLOBALG.A.P. audit, someone spends days collecting spray records, labels and quality checks from different files.

Hortusys solves these problems with one record for each bin.

Record the harvest once, at the bin. The crew leader scans or prints a QR label and records the bin by picker, block, row and weight. The Android app works without a signal and sends the data when the phone is online again.

Pay crews from the same records. The web app calculates hourly and piece-rate pay, quality bonuses, payments and debts for each seasonal worker. When a picker asks about their pay, the office can show every bin behind it.

Be ready for the audit. Spray and fertigation records, bin labels and quality checks are already in one place, as evidence for GLOBALG.A.P. and GRASP. A GLOBALG.A.P. auditor confirmed that Hortusys gives enough traceability for certification.

Manage a group of farms. Packhouses, exporters and cooperatives with an Option 2 group certificate keep each member farm as a separate orchard and see all of them for internal audits.

Know your orchard. The map shows blocks, rows and plants with cultivar and rootstock. Scouting reports add photos and a point on the map.
