Hostwinds VPS is an unmanaged service that allows businesses to host and manage Linux and Windows virtual private servers using cloud portals. It allows supervisors to maintain a backup of data in real-time and recover servers using snapshots to specific events in case of sudden failure.
It includes an enterprise firewall, which allows businesses to monitor and protect cloud servers from threats by configuring allowed/blocked traffic as per requirements. Hosts can utilize a load balancer to distribute incoming traffic across multiple virtual private servers. The platform also automatically creates storage volumes for additional bulk storage purposes and let user move volumes between various virtual private servers.
Other features include secure shell access, virtual network computing, object storage, and more.
