What is LAMS?
LAMS by Simpro is a cloud-based land acquisition management software that enables organizations to manage and monitor the acquisition of government, forest, and private land through LAQ Acts, direct purchase, and aggregators. The platform allows users to handle information related to Project Displaced Family (PDF) and surveys or land schedules via a unified portal.
LAMS enables teams to track and manage the payments for resettlement and rehabilitation allowances and grants for displaced families based on age and other eligibility criteria. It includes land and asset valuation functionality that lets organizations record measurements of various assets, including trees, wells, structures, and more. Administrators can also create color-coded identity cards for land outsees, encroachers, employees, and agents.
LAMS assists users with managing court litigations, recording proceedings, and receiving notifications for upcoming hearings. Other features include map visualization, a centralized dashboard, grievance management, KPI tracking, and more.
