LockedIn overview

What is LockedIn?

LockedIn is a cloud-based phone-free school platform for U.S. K-12 schools and districts, including Title I institutions. A native app for iPhone and Android installs directly from the App Store or Google Play onto students' personal devices, requiring no device-management profile or on-premises hardware. During school hours, the app enforces OS-level locking of school-blocked applications while the phone is within a custom campus geofence. Locking activates and releases automatically according to each school's bell schedule, including support for rotating days, early release, and free periods. Administrators monitor compliance in real time through a web-based dashboard that flags bypass attempts, such as fake devices, possible uninstalls, mock locations, apps never installed, and use of blocked apps, by individual student name.

LockedIn supports a range of operational and compliance needs across the K-12 environment. Roster data syncs from Clever, Veracross, Blackbaud, or OneRoster, or via CSV upload, keeping student records current without manual entry. Medical exceptions are handled through 504-plan configurations that keep required medical apps functional, or through per-student rule exemptions. Emergency Mode allows a single administrator tap to simultaneously unlock every phone on campus, launch an "I'm safe / I need help" roll call, and display a live student location map visible only for the duration of the emergency. Students retain access to emergency calls and calls home at all times, regardless of lock status. Violation alerts route automatically to designated administrators, and per-student compliance records are exportable for board reporting and state phone-law documentation.

LockedIn is priced per student, per year, by written quote, with subsidized or fully covered access available for qualifying Title I schools. No hardware is purchased, stored, or replaced. Deployment is live within one week. Trusted by schools across 37 or more U.S. states, LockedIn shifts phone enforcement away from daily teacher intervention and toward automated, administrator-visible compliance management.
