What is Logentic?
Logentic is an artificial intelligence powered automation platform designed for freight forwarders, customs brokers and logistics service providers managing global trade operations. The platform employs an AI agent named Alex that orchestrates operational workflows among booking emails, logistics documents and Transportation Management System data entry without requiring system migration or extensive IT implementation. Alex reads, classifies and routes booking communications automatically, reducing manual processing from approximately three hours per day to eight seconds per document. The platform supports operations involving full container loads, less than container loads, air freight and road transport.
The system extracts data from Bills of Lading, CMR consignment notes, air waybills and T one customs transit documents and populates TMS fields with zero typographical errors at speeds twelve times faster than manual methods. The booking completion feature identifies missing fields or attachments and initiates follow up requests autonomously without generating email chains, shortening resolution times from thirty to sixty minutes. The proactive status update functionality distributes shipment progress information and estimated time of arrival details before inquiries occur, eliminating forty five minutes of daily manual communication tasks. Additional document processing capabilities include Incoterms classifications, HS code determination, Authorized Economic Operator compliance verification, pre alert handling and movement reference number registration for customs declarations.
Integration extends to Transportation Management Systems such as CargoWise, Descartes, SAP TM, AEB, Scope Riege, Boltrics, Bluerock, ProActive, MendriX, Transpas, TISLOG and Qonnected. The platform connects directly to carrier portals for MSC, Maersk, CMA CGM and Hapag Lloyd and to customs portals including Portbase, Douane NL, Customs four trade and Softpak software. Email and document management integration covers Microsoft Outlook, Gmail, Microsoft Excel and SharePoint environments. A comprehensive integration framework enables connection to more than one thousand additional TMS, ERP systems and mail clients.
Implementation follows a fourteen day onboarding sprint structured in four phases. The initial phase maps operations to identify time consuming tasks during days one through three. The configuration phase establishes agent connections to email, TMS and portals during days four through seven. Production deployment commences processing of initial bookings during days eight through ten. Scaling occurs during days eleven through fourteen to accommodate increased volumes. No data migration is required and agents operate alongside existing workflows using API connections for bidirectional data flow.
