Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Lune.dev overview
What is Lune.dev?
Lune.dev is a cloud-based platform that provides software developers and technical users with access to a community-driven library of topic-specific AI models, called Lunes. Each Lune is a retrieval-augmented model trained on user-defined knowledge sources, including GitHub repositories, official documentation, API references, guides, and blog posts. An AI agent called Tycho automatically infers context from user queries and switches between relevant Lunes to deliver documentation-grounded answers with cited references. Developers can interact via a web interface or integrate directly into coding environments such as Cursor and Continue through an OpenAI-compatible API that functions as a drop-in replacement for existing OpenAI endpoints.
The platform supports creation of custom Lunes from one or multiple knowledge sources, enabling developers and open-source contributors to build and share expert models around specific libraries, frameworks, and tools. Automatic model routing selects between underlying large language models depending on task requirements, such as structured output generation. Lunes self-update from connected knowledge sources over time to maintain accuracy. Conversation continuity is preserved across IDE and web interfaces, and the platform supports MCP servers inside tools such as Cursor and Claude Desktop.
Lune.dev targets software developers, open-source contributors, and teams working in AI-assisted coding environments who require accurate, source-cited answers to technical questions. The platform covers industries including software development, open-source tooling, and developer tooling, and provides access to hundreds of community-created Lunes spanning a wide range of technical domains.
