Site managers, clients, subcontractors and finance all need to read the schedule, and almost none of them own a Microsoft Project licence. So the plan gets flattened into a spreadsheet by hand every reporting cycle, without a Gantt anyone can see, and the next one never looks like the last.

MppToExcel Pro for Microsoft Project is a Windows application that reads the .mpp file directly and writes a real workbook:

• A task table with IDs, names with indentation, dates, durations, resources, predecessors, percent complete, actual dates and work in hours.

• A Gantt chart drawn in Excel cells, not a picture: critical tasks in red, milestones, summary bars, non-working days shaded from the project calendar.

• Four timescales: days, months, quarters, or quarters and months.

• Cost data only when you ask for it: the box starts unticked every time.

• Who does what when: one row per assignment and a pivot table already built.

• Cost curves: baseline cost, cost and actual cost period by period, with the S-curves drawn.

• Resource load per period with a heat map, and a milestones sheet with the baseline date next to the current one.

• Up to thirty columns, chosen and ordered by you, and export filters: open tasks, milestones, one branch, one resource or a date window.

Master plans export with their inserted subprojects. Neither Microsoft Project nor Excel has to be installed: the workbook is written as an .xlsx file. The source plan is opened read-only and never modified.
