Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

NexLaw.AI overview
What is NexLaw.AI?
NexLaw.AI is a cloud-based AI litigation platform built for US attorneys, litigation teams, solo practitioners, small and mid-sized law firms, and in-house legal departments. The platform covers the full litigation lifecycle — from case intake and legal research through discovery, trial preparation, and live courtroom support — within a single connected workspace. Three integrated products form the core: NeXa, an AI legal research and drafting assistant; ChronoVault, an AI-powered document management, eDiscovery, and evidence timeline builder; and CasePrep/TrialPrep, a trial strategy workspace for witness outlines, trial narratives, and opposing counsel simulation.
NeXa delivers citation-verified legal research using retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) grounded in primary US legal sources across all 50 states, federal circuits, the Supreme Court, and federal statutes and regulations, with additional coverage of UK, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Singapore, and Malaysia. The database is updated daily, typically within 24 hours of publication. NeXa also supports AI-assisted drafting of pleadings, memos, motions, and legal documents, with automated argument section generation from research results. ChronoVault ingests depositions, medical records, police reports, emails, and PDFs — including scanned documents via OCR — and constructs audit-ready case chronologies and evidence timelines with fact-to-evidence mapping. CasePrep/TrialPrep adds data-driven case strength modeling, AI simulation of opposing counsel arguments, and a Courtroom Assistant for real-time retrieval of facts, exhibits, and arguments during hearings. Contract analysis capabilities include clause extraction across 500+ provision types, risk scoring across 15+ risk categories, entity mapping, and market benchmarking.
NexLaw.AI is deployed on private cloud infrastructure with SOC 2 Type II certification, AES-256 encryption at rest and in transit, US-only server storage, and a zero-data retention policy for enterprise users — client matter data is never used to train AI models, contractually guaranteed. Role-based access controls support multi-user collaboration across attorneys, paralegals, and corporate counsel. Flat-rate, single-seat pricing with no seat minimum and no enterprise contract requirement makes the platform accessible to solo practitioners and small firms alongside larger litigation teams.
