Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Novacula overview
What is Novacula?
Novacula is software for organizations that run their own blockchain nodes instead of renting access from an RPC provider. It is installed inside the customer's infrastructure: the servers, clusters, data and production traffic stay under their control.
The problem it solves is operational. Every network brings its own client software, resource requirements, upgrade order and health signals, and every placement method - systemd, Docker, Incus, Kubernetes - brings its own procedures. As the number of networks and sites grows, each combination becomes a separate project with its own scripts, monitoring and recovery steps. Novacula brings all of them under one operating model.
How it works:
Novacula splits into a control plane and an execution plane. The Hub stores configuration, accepts operations and receives telemetry. Executors run next to the workloads on Linux hosts or in Kubernetes clusters, install and maintain nodes, and report state back. The Executor opens an outbound HTTPS connection to the Hub, so no inbound access into the customer's network is required, and no RPC request passes through the Hub. If the Hub becomes unreachable, running nodes keep serving requests.
What you can do with it:
Deploy nodes on established L1s, L2s and rollups, and emerging high-performance networks through one guided workflow, with full, pruned, archive and blob-serving node types depending on the chain. Move through verified client versions with known upgrade paths for covered networks, instead of rebuilding the procedure per chain; update availability depends on the network, client and current version. Group nodes into high availability pools behind one endpoint and one domain, across independent sites, so the address your applications use does not change when individual nodes do.
Publish RPC as a local endpoint, on your own network, or on your own domain with TLS, access keys and rate limits. Watch synchronization, block height, peers, RPC traffic, latency and resource consumption on ready dashboards, export all metrics over OpenTelemetry into Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Victoria Metrics, Elastic or Splunk, and route alerts into Slack, Telegram, Microsoft Teams or a webhook. Control access with Owner, Admin and read-only Member roles, two-factor authentication, and an append-only audit log that can be filtered and exported.
Who it is for:
Exchanges, custodians, wallet providers, payment companies, RPC providers and protocol infrastructure teams - organizations whose blockchain access cannot depend on a single node, a single site or a single external provider.
The control plane can be hosted by Novacula or deployed inside the organization under licence. Execution and data stay with the customer either way.
