What I liked least about PayClock Online is that its interface feels somewhat outdated, and customization options—especially for reports and integrations—can be limited compared to more modern platforms.

Office Manager

It integrates well with Quickbooks Enterprise however, you do have to refresh the software connection every other payroll or so or the time has a tendency to not connect.

I like that employees can use both the physical clocks and the app to clock in and out since my employees are often on the move.

This saves a lot of time and keeps all the required records.

The Payclock app has a tendency to freeze up which can be fixed by closing and reopening the app.

We love how PayClock allows us to keep all punch ins and outs in one place, while also giving us the ability to record any absences.

I would recommend this product but facial recognition did not always work but is not necessary to it being a good product.

It's easy to import my new employees from Quickbooks and set them up as new users.

You have to wait 1 minute to re clock or out.  

I like being able to easily clock in and out.

There are some features that could be less manual, and there are some features that could be more intuitive and less clunky.

So could be that there was an issue with power surges in our building that caused it.  

Overall, this is a very useful application for tracking employee time.

We just could not work out what was causing the clocks to go blank.

Since I do train, I would like to see a way to do live videos with questions for the employee to answer.

My employees can text me anytime to correct their time and I can keep an eye on their time and ask them about it while they still remember.

I found it inconvenient that your "set up" appointment didn't include the parameters set up, like PTO accruals, report pulling, general instructions, etc.

The training options available make this software a great tool.

We preferred to use a mobile app so users could punch out off-site if needed.

Meaning I have to re-click the "Stop" check box and then also select the Activity after each manual entry.

When adding multiple punches, it's time consuming to be forced to re-click each item.  

In our instance, holiday hours being paid at time & 1/2 do not count towards their overtime hours.  

So I had 18 version bought 2019 used up a month a month ago when company crashed.

I really like the fact that the support is in the same time zone as our office and not on the other side on the planet.

I wonder why I need to pay an additional tech support since day one.

I have remote personnel and wish that this product could be used web base over phone or remote computer.

Virtual timeclock allows you to edit enter or delete punches and the calculating is done for you.

The lady I spoke to was incredibly helpful and nice.
