Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Pie overview
What is Pie?
Pie is a cloud-based autonomous QA platform for software development and QA teams shipping web, iOS, and Android applications. AI agents autonomously map application navigation, generate test cases covering happy paths and edge cases, execute them in parallel, and open fix pull requests when bugs are detected. Computer vision identifies UI elements by visual appearance, semantic role, and structural context rather than CSS selectors or XPath, making tests resilient to UI changes without selector maintenance. No SDK, source code access, or on-premises infrastructure is required; only an app URL or mobile build file is needed to begin.
The platform deploys a fleet of specialized, task-specific AI agents across distinct functions: scout agents map navigation and spawn specialist agents, explorer agents go deep on specific features, persona agents simulate user roles such as admin, standard user, and first-time visitor, edge-case agents test unexpected inputs, and a consolidator agent merges duplicates and prioritizes findings by criticality. A Contextual Knowledge Graph built during discovery captures element function and relationships, enabling self-healing when UI changes occur. Parallel execution via the Pie Farm runs hundreds of agents simultaneously, completing regression suites in approximately 30 minutes regardless of application size. PR-triggered testing reads commit diffs and PR descriptions to target tests on affected flows after each push. Existing Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and Gherkin/BDD suites can be imported, deduplicated, and re-executed with vision-based AI. Integrations include GitHub Actions, GitLab, Slack, Jira, and CI/CD pipelines via API.
Every reported bug is reviewed by an in-house QA expert before reaching the team, filtering false positives and reducing alert fatigue. Each confirmed bug includes a step-by-step recording. When a bug is found, the platform traces it to source code, identifies the likely root cause, and opens a pull request with a suggested fix. The system learns from user feedback so dismissed findings are not re-flagged. SOC 2 Type 2 certified; agents interact only with the UI in isolated, ephemeral cloud containers created on demand and destroyed immediately after execution. VPN-protected and private staging environments are supported via IP whitelisting and SSH tunnels. Pricing scales with product scope, not per test.
