RankScan overview
What is RankScan?
Buyers no longer start only with Google. Many ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude or Microsoft Copilot first. RankScan measures whether your brand appears in those answers, how it ranks in Google search and whether technical issues on your website hold it back.
You define the topics that matter to your business. For each topic, RankScan sends prompts to AI assistants, tracks the related keywords in Google and crawls your website. The results show where your brand is mentioned, where competitors are mentioned instead and which pages have errors or warnings.
Instead of a large dashboard, RankScan turns these findings into tasks. Each task explains the problem in plain language, names the affected pages, rates the effort and suggests who should handle it, for example editorial or development. After the next crawl, RankScan checks whether the fix worked and marks the task as fixed.
RankScan is available in English and German and is built by Klarplan AG in Lucerne, Switzerland. Plans start at $39 per month with annual billing. The 7-day trial needs no credit card.
