RapiLaser overview

What is RapiLaser?

RapiLaser is browser-based design and machine control software for diode laser engravers running GRBL 1.1 firmware. It runs entirely inside Chrome or Edge on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Android, with no installation or downloads required. Users draw designs, configure power, speed, passes, and air assist per layer, generate G-code locally on their device, and transmit it to the machine over a USB cable, all from a single screen. Compatible machines include Atomstack, Sculpfun, Ortur, Creality Falcon, TwoTrees, Longer, NEJE, Comgrow, and other GRBL 1.1 hardware. Android devices connect via an OTG data cable, allowing the engraving job to run from a phone while freeing the computer for other tasks.

Targeted at hobbyists, beginners, and small-shop operators in Mexico and Latin America, RapiLaser is positioned as a Spanish-language, entry-level alternative to more advanced CAM tools, with pricing in Mexican pesos via Mercado Pago. The editor includes shape and text tools with custom font support, a freehand pencil tool, shape merging, mirroring, arrangement controls, and a full layer system with individual power, speed, passes, and air assist settings. Additional tools include a photo vectorizer that converts images into 1, 3, or 7 gray-tone path layers; a Personalizer module for batch-producing keychains, tags, cards, or earrings from a single design plus a name list; a material test card generator; rotary mode for tumblers, mugs, and pens; a real-time head tracker; job time estimation based on actual machine acceleration; and pre-job framing with the laser off. File support covers imports of LightBurn .lbrn2, SVG, DXF, PNG, JPG, WebP, G-code, and .rpl formats, with exports to SVG, DXF, G-code, PNG preview, and .rpl.

Because G-code is calculated and transmitted locally, no internet connection is required once a job is running, and an outage does not interrupt active engraving. Auto-draft recovery restores unsaved work if the browser tab is closed. A 30-day free trial is available with no credit card required, and a print-quality PNG preview can be exported to show customers before committing to an engrave.
