Raven overview

What is Raven?

Raven is a cloud-based meeting platform developed in Germany that combines browser-based video conferencing with built-in recording, automatic speaker-attributed transcription, and AI-generated meeting summaries. All meeting content is processed exclusively on servers located within the EU, with no US providers in the data pipeline. Transcription runs on proprietary GPU infrastructure in Germany, and AI summaries are powered by a large language model hosted at an EU-based provider in Berlin. Guests join via link without an account or software installation, and a visible recording indicator is active whenever sessions are captured.

Raven targets freelancers, small teams, and organizations across Germany and the EU that operate under GDPR obligations, as well as legal professionals and confidentiality-bound practitioners (Berufsgeheimnisträger). The platform offers permanent rooms with waiting room access control, a searchable meeting archive, and public sharing of meeting results with optional password protection. RavenBot extends coverage by joining and transcribing external meetings on platforms such as Microsoft Teams. An on-premises deployment option is available under the Enterprise tier by individual agreement.

The Souveran tier addresses the highest confidentiality requirements by running all speech recognition and AI processing inside an attested confidential-computing enclave hosted at Scaleway in France, preventing access to meeting content even by the infrastructure operator. Recordings are encrypted at rest with AES-256-GCM, and customer-managed encryption keys are available at the Souveran tier. Transcription error rates are publicly auditable using open-source measurement tooling, and all AI providers are restricted to European vendors enforced at the code level, with the processing chain remaining within Europe even on fallback.
