Our commitment
Independent research methodology
Our researchers use a mix of verified reviews, independent research, and objective methodologies to bring you selection and ranking information you can trust. While we may earn a referral fee when you visit a provider through our links or speak to an advisor, this has no influence on our research or methodology.
Verified user reviews
GetApp maintains a proprietary database of millions of in-depth, verified user reviews across thousands of products in hundreds of software categories. Our data scientists apply advanced modeling techniques to identify key insights about products based on those reviews. We may also share aggregated ratings and select excerpts from those reviews throughout our site.
Our human moderators verify that reviewers are real people and that reviews are authentic. They use leading tech to analyze text quality and to detect plagiarism and generative AI.
How GetApp ensures transparency
GetApp lists all providers across its website—not just those that pay us—so that users can make informed purchase decisions. GetApp is free for users. Software providers pay us for sponsored profiles to receive web traffic and sales opportunities. Sponsored profiles include a link-out icon that takes users to the provider’s website.

Redis Software overview
What is Redis Software?
Redis Software is the self-managed, enterprise-grade edition of Redis, an on-premises in-memory data platform built for organizations that require high throughput, sub-millisecond latency, and strict data residency controls. It supports a broad range of data structures and models, including strings, hashes, lists, sets, sorted sets, streams, and JSON, alongside vector search and probabilistic data types, making it applicable across caching, session management, real-time analytics, and AI-powered application workloads.
Redis Software extends the open-source Redis foundation with enterprise capabilities such as active-active geo-distribution with conflict-free replicated data types (CRDTs), automated failover, multi-tenancy through Redis on Flash, and role-based access control. Deployable on-premises or in private cloud environments, it gives operations teams granular control over infrastructure, security policies, and cluster configuration. Redis on Flash allows datasets to extend beyond RAM capacity by tiering data across DRAM and NVMe SSDs, significantly reducing infrastructure costs without sacrificing the low-latency characteristics of in-memory storage.
Redis Software targets large enterprises and regulated industries where data sovereignty, predictable performance at scale, and operational resilience are non-negotiable requirements. The platform includes a management UI, a REST API, and integrations with observability and orchestration tooling, supporting both developer productivity and operational oversight across complex, distributed environments.
